It's Spring Break!!!!!!

Finally! I had the crew Sunday night through Wednesday evening. We partied like rock stars - well, somewhat like that. Here's how it went down . . .

Monday, March 9, Altitude Trampoline Park

Another UNFOCUSED selfie - ugh!

Such a fun place, and they love the special Toddler Time just for little ones.

Tuesday, March 10, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

Wednesday, March 11, TRE ride to Dallas Museum of Art & Klyde Warren Park

Addi had to take a last-minute restroom break, and we almost missed the train from the DFW/Centerpoint Station. We literally had to run through the parking lot to catch it - Bug in arm, stroller in the other, and backpack on my back with Addi following close behind. So close, in fact, that I didn't have time to buy tickets at the depot. I did once we made it downtown . . . and somebody had to tinkle - AGAIN!

All aboard!
We made it to Victory Station for the DART transfer.
 First visit to the DMA
All about the art! Let the creativity flow!

Trying to keep up with big sis -

Yeah, it's all over  . . .

Thursday, March 12, Pump It Up

Back home with their peeps, but the fun continued . . .

The March Snow

Yes, winter will just not stop, and we were all surprised with this one last round. Another missed school day, but this time a little accumulation helped to make the day more interesting and fun.

It started off as a family project, but Ash finished it. Well that's the word on the street anyway . . .

The "reconstructed" photo with the snowman (in PJs) since no one took pictures the first time around.

Somebody Loses a Tooth

She would wiggle it and say it was loose what seemed like forever. Now it finally happened - at school during lunch. That million dollar smile is still fabulous - just in a different way LOL. The Tooth Fairy paid a visit the next morning. All Addi managed to collect was $1. Now with the economy on the upswing, I thought the TF would have been a little bit more generous, but that's just my two cents . . . Mimi agreed.

January 21

And a week later -

She already took school pictures ;-)

It's 2015!

The new year rolled in without much fan fare. And all those Christmas toys are slowly being put to use. The Doc McStuffins microphone has become battling point:

What happens when you spend too much time on Christmas break - at Mimi & Chief's . . .

The Holiday are Here: 2014!

As expected, this month was plumb full with lots of activity. Take a look at some of the highlights.

Although a little uncertain at first, Ashton's first visit with Santa was remarkably better than his big sister's. Remember this one? LOL.

Oh yeah, she's got it down now...

Elf Self...

Bug's first Christmas program invite from Creation Academy

He never made it. Mimi, Chief, and I got out of the alley when Ash called to say she was headed back home. The photo below soon followed. This was the start of cold/flu season. Both crew members fought with vengeance for the next few months.

We managed to make our annual trip to Prairie Lights with Mimi too.

Bug had a terrible cough, so our visit through the forest was brief!

Christmas Eve - do they look sleepy????

Christmas Day

Too many toys too much fun. The day was spent with lots of family!

What was supposed to be a weekend family trip to an indoor water park was quickly cancelled:  ASTHMA! My little buddy had a terrible flare up, and was rushed to Cook Children's Hospital after Cook Urgent Care in Mansfield wouldn't open the doors five minutes after closing. Don't even get me started with this. They even called to alert the staff that they were on the way...

I picked up Addi from the hospital, and she stayed the night with me. Ash said she was a trooper through it all, and with the right meds, Bug made a nice recovery:

Even being in the hospital can't stop his selfie madness

Busy day! Another visit to one of their favorite places - Altitude Trampoline Park, a quick stop at Wendy's for lunch and then The Trains at Northpark Mall.

Addi asked where President Obama was ;-)

 Somebody's looking for Thomas . . .

We found Big Tex!

 Now bring on Christmas!
