Santa: Before and After

My yearly tradition of matching Christmas Eve PJs continued of course. I love this, and don't know how much longer they'll be willing to play along. These coordinating sets came from Gymboree - one of my favorite stores. Ash sent me some pics as the two awaited Santa's arrival.

Fittingly, a special Christmas wish from Addi -

Santa's Portable North Pole was a little late this year delivering their video messages. Typical digital delay I suppose similar to the package delays Fed Ex, UPS, and other delivery services were experiencing during the holiday madness. Nevertheless, Santa's messages came, and for the first time, Ashton received one. He was in awe! 

Addi thought Santa had forgotten about her, but soon learned that she too had also made the "nice" list. 

In addition, Santa also prepared last-minute Christmas Eve messages for Addi and Bug just before making his around-the-world sleigh run. It should be a good Christmas . . .

Christmas morning I took a few quick pics of my tree before packing up and heading to Ponzano for more family fun.

Mimi, Chief, and L finally made it over that morning (tardy of course), but all were blessed and thankful for everything received . . .

Christmas at Tainty's

The holiday fun continued with a few nights at the Bungalow.

Their first night in the guest bedroom. They're getting so big - had to kick them out of my room and give them each their own beds! Peaceful night but I didn't get much sleep worrying about them . . .

Our first trip to Casa Manana to watch Frosty the Snowman. It was a good performance. Addi really enjoyed it, but Ashton was a little restless after intermission. He said Frosty wasn't a "real snowman." :-/

Nevertheless, they did great!

The Holidays are Here!

Addi and the entire first grade of Daulton started the season out perfectly with their Christmas program How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Mimi thought the choir director's jeans were a little too tight :-/

Ashton's Santa pic seems more cheerful this year . . .

Surprisingly, we missed Prairie Lights for the first time ever, but Chief joined us for the Trains at North Park. It was a fabulous afternoon!
